
It has been La Posta’s Chile Co’s mission to continue sharing this southwest culinary treasure and welcoming guests to their adobe compound in Historic Old Mesilla with a history dating back to the 1840’s. Using local chiles grown in the Mesilla & Hatch Valley, the La Posta Salsa and freshly made tostada chips are still served with every meal in their restaurant.
La Posta Chile Co. now produces their award-winning salsas, sauces, hot sauces, and seasonings for sale locally in their restaurant, online, and various specialty retail stores. Their gourmet product line is NM True Certified, proudly incorporating New Mexico chiles, jalapenos, pecans, honey and more in their products. La Posta Chile Co., artisan line-up includes 14 tasty salsas, including their traditional Jalapeno Salsa, Verde Tomatillo Salsa, Christmas Salsa, as well as tasty Black Bean/Corn Salsa, Cherry Chipotle Salsa, Harvest Salsa and more.
They also produce New Mexico favorites like their Hatch Green Chile Sauce, Sun Dried Red Chile Sauce and their signature Green Chile Honey Mustard. Additionally, they have five hot sauces and four seasonings to enhance appetizers, wings, soups, entrees – any item needing that special, spicy kick of New Mexico flavor!
