The School Room
This cozy dining room (can accommodate up to thirty people) was once the temporary school house for Mesilla before it moved to the Courthouse just north of the La Posta Compound. (The same courthouse where Billy the Kid was tried and sentenced to hang).
This room, with a traditional kiva fireplace situated in a corner, is colorfully decorated with several traditional Mexican “Tree of Lifes” and other artifacts from south of the border. You can also view a beautiful wall mural by local artist Carolyn Bunch.
The School Room is available for private dining and events.
